Tiziano Treu is a professor emeritus of Labour Law at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan. He has held the position of Minister of Labour in Dini and Prodi, and Minister of Transport in the D’Alema government. Already Senator of the Republic, he was Chairman of the XI Senate Social Work and Social Security Committee. He is the author of numerous essays and volumes in labor law, trade union law and industrial relations, from Italian and comparative perspectives.
